HCH- Hill's Canine Hydrotherapy

Hill's Canine Hydrotherapy, Grendon Underwood, Bucks is a safe, friendly, professional centre and all the team are members of either the Canine Hydrotherapy Association (CHA), The Institute of Registered Veterinary & Animal Physiotherapists (IRVAP), the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists (NAVP) and the Register for Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP). We have been established since 2009. We then rebranded in 2018.
We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and achieving the best results possible. We allow plenty of time for your dog to get used to its surroundings and we never rush them into the pool or Underwater Treadmill. All dogs will be required to wear a canine life jacket or a simple y shaped harness which we will provide. The length of each swim will depend on the condition, ability of your dog and the recommendation of your vet.

All dogs swum at Hill's Canine Hydrotherapy must have gained their vets CONSENT (not direct referral). This safeguards your dog from any medical conditions that may be present and would dictate the level of swimming. Many dogs do come to us through direct veterinary referral. We have a simple form that needs completing prior to your visit this can be found on our website, feel free to call us and we can fill this in over the phone. We are confident to liaise with your vet and will send regular progress reports with regard to surgical and rehabilitation cases. My staff or I will always be in the water with your dog as this allows immediate support, provides extra resistance and reassures the dog if needed. It is a very effective way of monitoring the dogs condition whilst in their session.

“Highly recommend Katherine and all of the team. One of my dogs is not a natural swimmer but she is getting more confident with every swim thanks to all the positive encouragement she gets. Brilliant for keeping them fit for Agility.”
